As an Adjunct Faculty member at the C.T. Bauer College of Business, University of Houston, I teach graduating seniors and graduate students majoring in Management Information Systems (MIS), preparing them to lead a career in technology-driven business environments.
My philosophy is simple: students learn best when they are actively engaged. That’s why my classes are built around discussion, debate, and collaboration. Students work in groups to solve real-world business cases, learning how to think critically while challenging ideas and building practical solutions.
I also bring experienced thought leaders from industry into the classroom, giving students fresh perspectives on current market trends and the realities of the workplace. Additionally, since effective communication is just as important as technical skills, I place strong emphasis on presentation and storytelling. I coach students to deliver a clear, compelling narrative, connect with their audience, and present with confidence rather than simply reading from slides.

IT Project Management
Businesses worldwide are embarking on digital transformation journeys to stay competitive, and successfully managing IT projects is critical to making these initiatives succeed. This course includes core areas such as scope, schedule, and cost management, blending the Project Management Institute’s (PMI) frameworks with real-world business case studies.
Through hands-on projects, students gain practical experience managing IT initiatives — whether as Project Managers or team members — and graduate ready to tackle industry challenges and lead digital transformation efforts.
Digital Transformation
This course explores how AI, Big Data, Cloud Computing, and the Internet of Things (IoT) are reshaping industries, disrupting business models, and creating new customer value. Students develop both digital capabilities and leadership skills needed to drive successful transformation initiatives.
Topics include agile technology deployment, defining and measuring business value with KPIs, and designing digital products using design thinking and customer experience principles. Leadership elements such as crafting a digital vision, building adoption roadmaps, establishing governance, and leading technology teams are central to the course.
Using a mix of theory, case studies, hands-on projects, and expert guest lectures, students leave my class with applicable strategies and playbooks for leading digital transformation in real-world organizations.
